I am the previous reviewer, and I would like to correct my review. It does not contain xanthan gum as the film-forming and thickening agent, but rather sodium polyacrylate. Just to be accurate—although they serve essentially the same purpose.

Mint a krém kistestvérét, nagyon szeretem ő ezt a terméket is. Főleg jobb időben használom, mert a benne lévő xantán gumi miatt rajta sok krém morzsolódik, a fényvédőm viszont nem. Nagyon szépen terül a finom, vízkönnyed gél állaga, kevés kell belőle. Nekem a krém valahogy többet tud nyújtani, de attól nem fogom ezt lehúzni, mert nem érdemli meg. Egymás kiváló kiegészítői, a nyugtató/regeneráló napokon mindkettőt használom éjszaka is, önmagában ezt viszont csak reggel tudom. Én azt javaslom azoknak, akik még nem próbálták, hogy a nagytesóval együtt használják, mert sanszos, hogy más krémmel ütik majd egymást, lemorzsolódik. Reggel viszont tökéletes önmagában (tisztítás, C-vitamin után) a LRP Anthelios UVmune 400-zal! Olyan, mintha semmi nem lenne az arcodon, mégis egész napos hidratáltságot nyújt! Jó szívvel ajánlom!

Just like its big sibling, the cream, I love this product as well. I mainly use it in warmer weather because, due to the xanthan gum it contains, many creams tend to pill when layered over it, although my sunscreen does not. Its delicate, water-light gel texture spreads beautifully, and only a small amount is needed. For me, the cream somehow offers a little more, but that does not make me rate this one any lower because it does not deserve it. They complement each other perfectly. On soothing and repairing days, I use both of them at night, while I use this one on its own only in the morning. I recommend that anyone who has not tried it yet use it together with its big sibling, because there is a good chance it may not layer well with other creams and could pill. In the morning, however, it is perfect on its own (after cleansing and vitamin C) under the LRP Anthelios UVmune 400. It feels as if you have nothing on your face, yet it provides hydration all day long. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I have never had acne-prone skin, but this product caused breakouts. I tried pausing it and then giving it another chance, but the small red pimples kept appearing on my otherwise clear, at most slightly dry skin. It seems to have done more harm than good. My skin now looks like that of a teenager, and I do not understand how it works for others. I was using a proper double cleansing routine beforehand (BOJ oil cleanser + foaming cleanser + Heartleaf 77% toner or BOJ Ginseng toner).
For me, this product was a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, there is no smaller size available to test these issues, which I consider a drawback from the manufacturer.
The only positive thing is that it immediately plumps and hydrates the skin, like any natural moisturizer. I wish the product further success.

The only truly positive aspect of my experience is that my order arrived quickly, so I give extra points to the webshop and recommend it.

For me, it is not quite the love affair that it seems to be for the people whose reviews convinced me to buy it. :) It is definitely a good product, and if I did not already have other snail mucin products, I would probably love it. However, because of its texture, it gets only 4 stars from me. The Benton Snail Bee High Content Lotion remains my gold standard.
